Each session is different as we move through the seasons but always include fire lighting, foraging and a craft skill. Learn wood working and whittling skills, weave with willow and rush, create containers from bark, make natural paints and pigments and have a go at botanical printing and natural dyeing.... all based round the campfire at our secluded bushcraft camp.
Duration : 10am to 3pm
Suitable for adults 18+ yrs
Cost £22.50 + £2.50 fee
In addition to the standard terms and conditions the following bespoke terms also apply:
*Participants must be 18 yrs+
*Bring a packed lunch that can be carried 1km to the Bushcraft Camp
*Dress for the weather outdoors and wear sensible shoes.
*Parking is charged in addition to the ticket price at £8 paid locally on the day.
*All attendees must follow any Covid-19 government advice in place at the time of the event.

Suitable for school aged, home educated children
Cost £13.50 + £1.50 Fee, accompanying adults free.
Parking is included.

Join the rangers for a day of bushcraft activities. Build survival shelters, light fires and find out how to use a knife safely.
Duration : 10am to 3pm

Parking is offered at a discounted rate of £3 per vehicle for this event.
Registration will be open between 5.30pm and 6.30pm so please arrive at a time to suit you during this period.
What will you discover? Illuminated pathways, mouth-watering refreshments at our event village, early Christmas present shopping at our craft stalls, entertainment and lots more spooky fun … it's all awaiting you in the forest.
The event village will be open 5.30pm - 9pm.
Every ticket you buy will go towards the work of Blue Cross, helping vulnerable animals receive the treatment, care and love they deserve and to have a second chance at life. There will be competitions on the night with our fabulous fancy-dress contest for younger walkers and even before you arrive, with our "Do a trick and win a treat" for your pooch - keep watch on the official Bark in the Dark Facebook Event page for details of how to enter!

*The Blue Cross Bark in the Dark Terms and Conditions apply for this event.
*Participants must have a head/handheld torch and all dogs must wear a reflective collar or have a light up tag/collar/lead.
*Any dogs in season should avoid attending for safety reasons
*Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for an off-road walk and be prepared for all weather conditions.
*Please pre-pay to park your car, parking is available from 3pm and is offered at a discounted rate of £3 per car.
