Wild Wonder Children's Book Festival Day Admission
Pre-book your Wild Wonder Festival day admission, your ticket includes entry at any time between 9am and 4.30pm and festival day admission for children is free!
Join us for Wild Wonder at Westonbirt: a new children's book festival dedicated to nature, animals and the outdoors.
Westonbirt Arboretum is hosting a 3-day event for families featuring some of the UK's most famous children's book authors, illustrators, wildlife presenters and storytellers. They'll come together to celebrate books about wildlife, the environment and the very best stories with a green theme. And trees! There will be lots of books about trees.
Please ensure that you book tickets for any events that you would like to attend during your visit. See our website for full information on all Wild Wonder Events.
Friends of Westonbirt members and reciprocal garden members can book free entry. Visitors who require a personal assistant to attend with them due to a disability or health condition can select a personal assistant ticket when booking.
In addition to our standard event terms and conditions:
- You must present a valid ticket (and membership card if applicable) upon arrival.
- All visitors must follow the government guidelines on social distancing. If you start having COVID-19 symptoms or have had contact with a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, then please stay home.
- Children's bikes and scooters are welcome if under 70cm from floor to handle bars.
- Dogs are not permitted for Wild Wonder events and activities (except for assistance dogs).
- All facilities are subject to closure for technical, operational or safety reasons.

Westonbirt Pre-booked Day Admission
Pre-book your arrival timeslot. Your chosen time is your 20 minute window to arrive on site, you can then stay as long as you like on the day (until site closing time). Pre-booking is available 7 days in advance.
Children under 5 can attend free of charge and do not require a ticket.
Friends of Westonbirt members and reciprocal garden members can pre-book a free arrival timeslot using their valid membership card number when prompted. Members are required to show their valid membership card upon arrival along with timeslot tickets.
Visitors who require a personal assistant to attend with them due to a disability or health condition, should select a personal assistant ticket online when booking.
In addition to our standard event terms and conditions:
- You must present a valid ticket (and membership card if applicable) upon arrival.
- Children's bikes and scooters are welcome if under 70cm from floor to handle bars.
- Dogs are welcome on leads on The Downs and permitted off lead in Silk Wood if well behaved, stay in sight and return when called. Dogs are not permitted in the Old Arboretum.
- All facilities are subject to closure for technical, operational or safety reasons. In addition, opening times for admissions and facilities vary seasonally.

Due to limited availability and high demand, we strongly recommend that you book your mobility equipment when booking your Enchanted Christmas trail tickets.
Please note that your scooter or wheelchair will be available from 4pm onwards so you can collect this prior to entering the trail. Please collect your mobility scooter or wheelchair from the information point in front of the Welcome Building. We advise that all visitors check the weather before visiting and bring waterproofs if necessary.

Enchanted Christmas
Set out on the illuminated trail and discover a magical world of breath-taking light spectacles and interactive displays amongst the magnificent trees of Westonbirt Arboretum!
Due to high demand advance booking is essential. Trail entry is available by timeslots which are every 10 minutes. Please book the time that you would like to enter the trail, the trail takes approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour 30 minutes to complete. Our festive Christmas Village will be available from 4pm in addition to the trail.
In addition to our standard terms and conditions the following terms also apply:
*A post trail survey will be sent to the email address provided. You are under no obligation to complete the survey but doing so will help in planning future activities
*Dogs are not permitted on the illuminated trail, except assistance dogs.
*Attendees must follow the latest UK government guidance in place at the time of the trail

Enchanted Christmas - Relaxed Session
Set out on the illuminated trail and discover a magical world amongst the magnificent trees of Westonbirt Arboretum!
This is a Relaxed Session whereby the trail will be adapted to suit those with additional needs. For example, strong flashing lights, loud sound effects and smoke effects will be temporarily deactivated. These functions will then resume after the Relaxed Session at 5pm for general trail admission.

Please book the time that you would like to enter the trail, the trail takes approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour 30 minutes to complete. Our festive Christmas Village will be available from 4pm in addition to the trail.
